Step 1
Open your timetable in Compass
Sign in to Compass in a web browser — the browser version usually shows more than the phone app — and open the view that shows your full teaching timetable.
From Compass to your planner
Compass looks different at every school, so this guide sticks to what is dependable: find a copy of your timetable that Compass can give you, hand it to Made to Teach, and review the draft before it becomes your schedule.
Step 1
Sign in to Compass in a web browser — the browser version usually shows more than the phone app — and open the view that shows your full teaching timetable.
Step 2
Compass documents PDF timetable downloads and a class-details export from a teacher schedule. What you can see depends on your school and access level. Prefer a timetable-only PDF. If a class-details export is available, include only schedule fields and leave out class lists, rolls, notes and other student information.
Step 3
Many schools publish the timetable as a printable PDF, and that imports too. So does a clear photo or screenshot of the whole grid, as long as the day labels, clock times, and class names are readable.
Step 4
In the app, open Classes → Import timetable. Upload the file directly on your device, or choose Import using our website, generate a one-time code, and upload from any browser at import.madetoteach.com.au.
Step 5
Made to Teach turns your upload into a draft timetable. Check every class name, room, day, and time, fix anything that looks wrong, then choose Add timetable to schedule.
If the screen looks different
Use the browser version, then ask your timetable officer or Compass administrator for a timetable-only PDF. Export options are controlled by school configuration and permissions.
Export or capture the complete cycle, including every Week A/Week B or day-number label. During review, check that the cycle starts on the correct date.
Upload a full, uncropped grid at a readable resolution. If a PDF contains extra student details, make a timetable-only copy before uploading it.
